Twin Cities Rotary led a drive to raise funds to purchase new coats for children without in Ouachita Parish. The club reached out to other organizations and companies to create additional support and Monroe Rotary, West Monroe Rotary and Graphic Packaging joined in on the initiative.

The group raised over $1,100 that was matched with an equal dollar amount, which valued at $2,200 allowing Twin Cities Rotary to purchase 120 brand new coats that went to 120 needy children in Ouachita Parish.

The club contacted the Ouachita Parish School system and Monroe City School system to identify specific children and need. The coats were able to go to students at Swayze Elementary, Robinson Elementary, Madison James Foster Elementary, Riser Elementary and Riverbend Elementary schools.
